First Haircut!

I finally had to break down and give my son a hair cut.  People were thinking he was a girl because it was so shaggy.  He did so good during the haircut.  I grabbed a super cute kit from Scraps of Ellay: Spiffed Up! to scrap the pictures of his first haircut.  This is a fun kit and I know I will use it again for the many, many bathtime pictures I have of him.

Here are my layouts.  I did a two page spread...if you know me I take tons and tons of pictures.

Here is a look at the fun kit!

I also made a cute word art freebie for you

You can grab it HERE

Most Wonderful Time And A Freebie

Yes it is the Most Wonderful Time of the year. Well for me it is. I love the Christmas season, it can get crazy, but it is also lots of fun. It brings me back to my childhood and there is just something special about it. And today I get to show you layouts I made with a new kit by Scraps of Ellay called Most Wonderful Time. A great kit packed to the brim with wonderful elements in lots of fun colors. Perfect for all of your holiday photos. Just look at the linked preview below and you'll see how much fun it really is.

My first layout is my dog Tucker visiting Santa. I did the layout for the font challenge in the forum. This month's font is one of my favorites called Santa's Sleigh. I love the blues and pinks in this kit in addition to the reds and greens. They make the kit so versatile.
My second layout is my niece opening at Christmas present a couple of years ago. I really had fun with the tree and present elements on this one and I absolutely love the patterns on the papers in this kit. They are just too fun.
I was given permission to create a freebie for ya'll. I put together a frame cluster that I really like, I already have plans to use it myself. The preview is linked, so simply click and download. And as always comments are always welcome.
After you download the freebie, head over to the Stuff to Scrap store and pick up the kit Most Wonderful Time for your stash!!!!!

Child's Play and Irish Eyes

I got to work with some great kits this month. First up is Child's Play, Revamped, by Scraps of Ellay. It's a bright, fun kit filled with all kinds of playground and child-like elements, great for the kids in your life.

Here are a couple pages I did with it.

This one was for last week's Challenge of the Week, a great font challenge - and I'm only 2 1/2 years "late" making the page since my baby will be 3 this December!

Check out the fun kit, available at STS! (Image is linked to the STS store.)

I've had a "stack" of pictures from when I visited Ireland in 2005 just waiting for the perfect kit to scrap them with, so when I saw Irish Eyes by Seal Scraps, I knew it was time. The kit is filled with some great green papers and elements. There are also some really cool Celtic crosses, clovers and word art. The colors would even work for spring photos, too. Check it out! And here are some pages. I did a lot of journaling because, well, it was one interesting trip!
