Alright, now the kit. My second favorite hobby is cooking so this kit is a must have in my mind. I love the colors of Super Chef. There is a huge variety of elements and a really cool set of food labels. I have several cooking kits but I love that this one has tons of non baking stuff like meats and veggies. (Don't worry, there's plenty of baking stuff in it too!) My goal is to eventually get all of my recipes scrapped, this kit would really help if you want to do that too.

4 Seasons Fall & a Freebie

Happy Wednesday all....well for me it is my Monday. But it was a good day, the weather has been cooler and I can feel fall in the air. Which is why I was very excited to get to work with Scrap N' Pieces new kit called 4 Seasons Fall. It is a beautiful and I do mean beautiful fall kit that is just packed with goodness. I really struggled with my layouts because I wanted to use everything!!!! And a little word to the wise...since it is new it is on sale for $2.50 from today to the 12th. Just look at the linked preview below and I'm sure you'll drool too.

My first layout is my brother and sister-in-law, taken last year. I love that top paper, really love it. It is so elegant looking and yet rustic too. The the kit has great flowers and leaves, and all kinds of other goodies too. I love the combination of rusty orange and army green. And the title is done in the alpha from the kit.

On my second layout I pulled more of the blues and greens from the kit. Don't you just love a kit with lots of color options? The photos are my sister and niece and I love how they looked against these colors. And I had fun using all the different buttons and brad, I loved tucking them here and there.

Penalty Box by Scraps N' Pieces

Scraps N' Pieces has a great hockey kit in the store, Penalty Box; I found it great for scrapping some pictures of my boys trying to ice skate for the first time *total disaster by the way*. The kit has a lot of great hockey elements including a great puck hitting a window element; you can also pick up a set of cardstocks or a set of quick pages if you're pressed for time. Go Blackhawks!

Rookie Behind the Wheel

So I had some pictures of my kids pretending to drive the car, and needed something to scrap the pictures with. I was browsing through the store and came across this kit. It was perfect. Fun enough that I can use it with my kids pictures, but not so kiddie that you can't use it for older drivers. The kit is easy to work with and has tons of fun elements. You can click on the image to check it out in the store.

I did this LO with the pictures and the kit and I also used a template from Scrappy Cocoa. I just love that little stop light element! Check out this great kit!

Imagine by Scraps N' Pieces

It's Thao, one of STS CT here. This month, I have a pleasure to work with one of Scraps N' Pieces kit called Imagine. I really like the bright colors of this kit. The fun elements and papers also catch my eyes, so I jump right into it to scrap. This kit is available in Stuff to Scrap store and currently on sale for $2.50 until the end of this week.
