Summer Romance by Flower Scraps

Take a peek at this adorable kit by Deanna of Flower Scraps, I just LOVE this color combination!  DJFS_SR_Preview

I decided to scrap some pictures from Easter, earlier this spring and did a double page layout:042411_ADDp&sv2_DJFSsr_EASTERatOmas (600 x 300)

Here’s just the left side:

042411_ADDp&sv2_DJFSsr_EASTERatOmasLEFT (600 x 600)

(*Yes, I know there is a typo and promise to have it fixed before I even think about having my pages printed, lol!)

And, the right:

Here is a two page layout I created using this cute kit:

Those Were The Days by Meagan's Creations

Those Were The Days by Meagan's Creations is a fun retro kit that includes 13 papers, 42 elements and a full alpha. It has neat remember when labels that make it the perect kit for scrapping past memories. You can grab it here.

Family Trees

This month's Scrap What? challenge at STS is to scrap your family tree, and Scraps by Andrea has a great kit for it: It's That Time Again. The family themed word art and almost antique-y looking papers and colors worked really well for this project I've been meaning to do for quite some time! Check out the kit. (Image linked.)

And here's my family tree for this month's Scrap What? challenge using the kit.

Although the kit works great for family pages, it's also neutral enough to scrap everyday pages, too, so head on over to the store and check it out!

Whistle While You Work

Christie here with a peek at The Scrappy Kat's fun colored kit, Whistle While You Work. I'm really digging the colors in it - full of yellows, oranges and light blues. There are lots of fun elements for scrapping that little helper in your life - plus it's a great kit for hybrid chore charts... which is what I made with it. Check out the kit here (Image is linked to the store.).

And here's the chore chart I made. I left some spaces blank so I can customize it based on weekly jobs, but once it's laminated, it will be ready to go and fill in with dry erase markers.
A chore chart is a great project for school starting, and Whistle While You Work is a great kit for making it with! Check it out in the STS store!

Rookie Behind the Wheel

So I had some pictures of my kids pretending to drive the car, and needed something to scrap the pictures with. I was browsing through the store and came across this kit. It was perfect. Fun enough that I can use it with my kids pictures, but not so kiddie that you can't use it for older drivers. The kit is easy to work with and has tons of fun elements. You can click on the image to check it out in the store.

I did this LO with the pictures and the kit and I also used a template from Scrappy Cocoa. I just love that little stop light element! Check out this great kit!

Down By The Lily Pad & a Freebie!!

Down By The Lily Pad is a great outdoor kit featuring pond life and the soothing colors of nature.  You'll love all the different frogs and other water friendly animals in this kit!  You'll have to hurry to catch this kit though.  It retires at the end of the month.  Because it's in the retiring soon bin for a couple more days, you can grab this fabulous kit for just a $1.  With that savings, you'll be able to grab the matching worn paper pack with is just $0.80!  Check it out.  Previews are linked to the store.

I created this first layout documenting the flooding at my In-laws last summer for the August Color challenge.

This second layout was created for the August Scraplift Challenge.  The worn paper pack lends itself well to blending!  I always wonder how people create certain effects on their layouts so here you go: I created circles of the beige paper the same size as my photos as a base to blend them on.  Then I used the soft light blend mode on my photos and duplicated them 3 times to create the saturated blend.

Christie Dawn of Scrappin' Serenity was gracious enough to allow a freebie on this kit, so here you go- 1 pre-shadowed cluster to border the layouts you create with this kit!

Flutter By by Mom 2 Moo Designs

Today I have a super cute and girly kit to show you by Mom 2 Moo. It's called Flutter By and it is packed with butterflies and bright colors.
